com.au and FOXSPORTS.com.au, two of News Interactive’s media sites. She is responsible for
managing every aspect of the sites, including commercial and technical strategy, operations
and content. She also works closely with the News Limited newspapers, News Interactive
executive team and other News Limited companies on content enhancement and commercial agreements. Sigrid brings a wealth of journalistic and online experience, having previous positions as group manager of online content and media with Telstra Bigpond, Director of Content and Programming at Excite@Home, chief of staff at the Sydney Morning Herald and head of network
content at ninemsn.
 
TRISTAN PLACE
One of the founding employees of ROO Online Video Network, Tristan Place
is vice-president of sales & strategic partnerships, Australasia. Tristan has
been worked in online media for 10 years both in Australia and the US across
advertising sales, business development, product management, enterprise
applications and digital content licensing. Mr Place has held various senior
sales management and business development positions with leading publishers

IAN VAILE
Ian Vaile is director of Fairfax Digital Productions, responsible for developing, producing and distributing multi-platform content, including video and multimedia. He was previously content, commissioning and editorial head for the ABC’s New Media and Digital Services division. He began his career at ABC TV, moving to ABC Current Affairs Radio as a producer, and has held several senior new-media management roles. Peter Miller is the Managing Director of Adstream Australia, a company he joined in early 2004. Adstream is an innovative digital marketing services company and has grown and diversified rapidly under his leadership. Adstream recently acquired Quickcut Australia which has lead the print and publishing production services market for over a decade. Today, Adstream manages the distribution and production workflow requirements of most advertisers in Australia. Prior to joining Adstream, Peter held senior sales and marketing positions with leading newspaper and magazine groups Pacific Magazines, Fairfax Media, News Limited and ACP. He is a Trustee of the Sydney Theatre Company Foundation, Chairman of the Big Issue Magazine Advisory Group and a Director of the Cancer Patients Foundation.
